I was interested in an apartment that I found to move in as a roommate at the address 1315 Eden San Jose Ca 95117 When I was trying to return the application the office door was fully open and there was a table outside for tenants That is when I was I was interested in an apartment that I found to move in as a roommate at the address 1315 Eden San Jose Ca 95117 When I was trying to return the application the office door was fully open and there was a table outside for tenants That is when I was approached by one of the office staff and she told me the office actually is closed and it could only assist over the phone with applications So I told her I came here to only return the application and she than told me to leave the application by the door on the floor while she stood at the table for tenants which I did So I went back to the apartment that I was supposed to be moving into just to see the place Someone than knocked at the door and told us to come back and to the office and when we came back to the office another lady along with the lady I spoke to previously told us I was missing a date on my application and for that reason they decline my application and told me to not waste my time because people like me are not welcome regardless I was shocked and extremely upset with her response and I ask what do you mean people like me and she told me my application is declined and refuse to take the completed form with an attitude while the other person without any cover on her mouth is telling me I need to fix my mask properly while she doesnt even have a mask on she even threatened to call the police if I didnt leave which I told her I will wait for them I felt so picked on and bullied so I left the application on the floor and walked away Imagine I never met these two people I simply walked there to return a completed application and experienced the most horrible service that I ever experienced in my life with extreme racist and ignorant employees The roommate at the apartment that I was supposed to rent from advised me that this has happened several times and they dont allow any colorblack people to move in there and will try to find any reason to not rent to them even if she has lived here over a decade Ever since these 2 employees got hired they have been treating her horribly trying to make her move and saying derogatory comments towards her but she is scared and she doesnt know where to complain so she choose to stay quiet all this time Im very surprised at this day and age especially for low income housing how employs like this are discriminating people to not get equal opportunity I am still interested in moving in as a roommate and I have completed the needed documents and they have them with my personal information hoping I would still get approved since I am fully qualified based on the requirements Hopefully upper management can assist me and give me equal opportunity as they shouldmore ...hide ...
