The apartments are nice but pricey compared to other communities in the area, plus they don't even include washers and driers—they make money off of renting those appliances out. If you choose to sign the lease, inspect the apartment before moving in and keep the move-in report with you. When it's time to move out she'll try telling you that carpet damage will be evaluated later; refuse this request in writing since this is her way of charging exorbitant fees when claiming that carpet needed replacing three months after leaving. Ask her for an inspection right then and there or for written documentation for when the inspection is scheduled; also ask her for proof of what damage she claims three months later.more ...hide ...
