It is a low-income housing unit. The management is horrible. They discriminate people with disability and base on race. They should be called Hard-Hearted Housing. Today morning, people from Los Angeles Mental Health Department came to visit her after a long-wait. My mother barely answers her calls because of her hearing loss. It is a unit with a high security and requires a special key to enter. Members of LAC DMH, my husband, and I called the management office several times to ask them to open the gate, but they never opened it saying that it is their policy. So you call it a policy not opening the door for a very needed person who is waiting for a mental treatment? The treatment team left after waiting one hour at the gate, not seeing the patient.more ...hide ...
