Concerning The Villagio, the location and closeness to other areas is a plus. The lobby has a sultry modern feel, but not much else. The rooms have nice fixtures and finishes, yet they are not well-equipped for colder months. The heater was not enough and the doors are drafty; my room was frigid. The fireplaces are aesthetically pleasing but not useful for heat. There were even ants in my room, which is not the norm for a higher-end hotel. Therefore, I am decreasing the rating to two stars because another review reported ants a month ago. The service was satisfactory and the breakfast was average. This place could benefit from having a hot breakfast, as well as mimosas and Bloody Marys. I may return during warmer months, but I doubt I would become a regular. We were not overly impressed with the room we had At nearly 1200night I would have expected a larger room with more amenities There wasnt even a shower cap We requested feather free pillows and waited over 3 hrs to get them Additionally our first day We were not overly impressed with the room we had At nearly 1200night I would have expected a larger room with more amenities There wasnt even a shower cap We requested feather free pillows and waited over 3 hrs to get them Additionally our first day the room wasnt cleaned by 6 pm We left our room at 9am We had to complain repeatedly to get our room serviced Even though the manager didnt end up charging us for that night it left us with a bad feeling The breakfasts were adequate All in all our expectations were not met When we stayed at the Vintage Inn a few years ago we were much happier with the room and the breakfast Chances are we would not return to the Villagio more ... hide ...
