She has friendly neighbors and a very accommodating manager on site. GM is clean and well-maintained, and has lots of activities offered through individuals, the counsel, the community, and Green Manors board. On the top floor is a lounge for activities and meetings. On the bottom floor is the office,a laundromat, and a lobby area. It is well situated too, located in beautiful, stately Mission Hills near shops, banks, grocery stores, and restaurants. GM also has a nice patio in the back where they have parties and an annual rummage/bake sale. And the view from many of the upper apartments is either of the eastern mountains or the ocean. On the 7th floor, facing west, my mom has a spectacular view of the ocean, harbor, airport, and downtown. Woo hoo!more ...hide ...

Sandy Robinson is a staff who is in charge there (Hopefuly not anymore for Big Sisters sake) who lets staff emotionally abuse women and mistreat the residence and thier family members and children. You are not allowed to get ECTs and live there...only some women can?? (Doesnt make sense to me either, you are not alone) If you leave and get ECTs and promised to come back, Sandy will leave you homeless at the hospital if you dont have anywere else to stay and keep your money. Aside from the place always being infested with bedbugs, staff members being shot while working, and the house catching on fire, staff mistreatment, Sandy always hiding illigal activity, you should be fine living there. Oh and if you are highly allergic to peanut butter, Dont expect to feel safe eating there.more ...hide ...
