I lived in this building for 13 years, and I saw it go from good to bad to worse and back again. I can't say anything for the new leasing office team, but during the time I lived in the building, the tenants were the worst. Fire alarms would go off at least twice a week, and this went on for years! People would not clean up after their pets in the halls and in elevators. The tenants would party and trash the community balcony, causing the leasing management to close the community areas regularly. The neighborhood was a campground for the homeless, and if you were a female, it was EXTREMELY dangerous. Pacificap is your typical corporate landlord who doesn't really care about maintaining the apartment building - they only care about lining their pockets with rent money. The lobby is shiny and well-decorated, but don't let that fool you - the rest of the building is not well-maintained. Laundry facilities and elevators were always broken when I lived there. Even though it was affordable compared to other downtown apartments (at least at first), rent continued to increase with each new lease signing until it wasn't worth it anymore.
