My $8,000 motorcycle was stolen, and although I reported it to the police, there has been no word. My pickup truck was towed by a towing company and the explanation given by the Aspen Lake office was that I had written 'For Sale' on it - which makes no sense, as the vehicle had valid insurance and registration. Since the building became Aspen Lake, everything has gone wrong. I had been living there for two years and four months, and in my contract there was a clause that stated that if I stayed for the two years and paid on time, I could receive my deposit and five percent of my closing costs if I bought a home. It has been three months since I left, and I have yet to see either my deposit or the five percent of my closing costs, so I have had to hire a lawyer to take care of the case. I would strongly advise against anyone considering a move to Aspen Lake apartments.more ...hide ...
