UPDATE MaintenanceManagement entered My Apt today wo My Permission to fix a Window that was Broken by GUNFIRE on December 18th 2020 I did Not give permission to Anyone to Access My Apt on March 31th 2021 without at Least a 12hr Notice This was Clearl UPDATE MaintenanceManagement entered My Apt today wo My Permission to fix a Window that was Broken by GUNFIRE on December 18th 2020 I did Not give permission to Anyone to Access My Apt on March 31th 2021 without at Least a 12hr Notice This was Clearly NOT an Emergency situation where Access was Needed Immediately since Ive been waiting since Last Year for this Window to be Fixed Yes ManagementMaintenance tried to get Access to My Apt on February 25th 2021 to do the Repair which was 2 months after the GUNFIRE pierced My Window BUT since there was No Notice provided to me I Denied Access because I workfromhome I was about to begin My Shift Management provided a 7 Day Notice Last Week advising that someone would be entering My Apt on March 30th 2021 to finally complete the Repair I waited ALL DAY for someone to come or at Least Call There was No Repair No Phone CallnnTODAY is March 31th 2021 I received a Voicemail from ManagementAngel threatening to terminate My Lease if I did Not grant Access to My Apt TODAY331 Mind you Im Not even there to be able to Grant Access since I was advised on 323 that the repair was to be completed on 330 to be Honest Its Not My Problem that Maintenance May or May Not of Misplaced the Key to My Apt So please Mr MANAGEMENT direct your Threats ElsewherennI then tried returning the call to ManagementAngel several times today with No answer So I decided to respond in writing via Email Also My Lease for 2021 has Not been produced to Me as of Yet I would give this review 0 Stars if It was an Option due to ManagementAngel alone if I couldnnIve lived here for a number of years and Ive seen A LOT I have watched management change come go one being more crooked than the next I keep my head down mind my own business however that doesnt keep you from becoming a target Crime in this complex was very high when I moved In then It seemed to decline for a moment which was great However within the past couple of years it seems to be progressing once again A friend of mind stated that she thinks the children of the residents have grown into unproductive teens which has lead to the increase in drugs gun violence directly within Crossroads Apartments Im currently living in fear praying for a way out of here I would NOT recommend these apartments unless you have no other optionsprospects whatsoever more ... hide ...

Leasing manager Brenda is incredibly rude; I had to live without air conditioning for a whole week. After I threatened to contact corporate and code enforcement, Brenda said she was awaiting HUD approval for a thermostat for the AC unit. After I threatened to contact corporate and code enforcement, Brenda said she was awaiting HUD approval for a thermostat for the AC unit. Two weeks after no AC, I was forced to move, with unknown rent fees imposed by the owner Brenda. She speaks to people in an offensive way and if you talk back, you will be evicted. DO NOT MOVE HERE; they don't repair anything regardless of whether you pay rent or not. Mr. Wayne (maintenance) has a drug addiction, so your belongings in the apartment may be stolen while you are at work. Since you are on HUD and HUD pays part of your rent, Brenda will treat you like an animal because she assumes you can't afford regular rent and you will be compelled to accept whatever she says and does to you. Good luck trying to get repairs done if there is a wait; you may be suddenly charged with unknown fees and given the wrong corporate number. If you have kids, don't put them through this; there are murders happening every other week. Google their crime rates; I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here unless it is your only option. more ... hide ...
