Since then, the on-site management has changed, and while I never had any major issues with the manager, I can testify to her lack of professionalism and incompetence. I was a board member of the 501C3, and I kept my opinions to myself in order to maintain impartiality...but now that I no longer live there, I am free to speak my mind. If you find yourself residing in this property, good luck getting repairs done in a timely fashion (or even at all). Good luck keeping your personal matters private, as the manager is likely to share it with anyone who will listen. Good luck with pest control. Good luck with reaching anyone when you need help. I once went to the office and found a sign on the door that said, "If you are here to pay rent, turn around and get $50, you are late." This was at 5:30 PM on the 5th of the month. The manager was in the office with the door locked, which was not surprising. I once saw her and two non-employees take confidential employee files and put them in her car. Who does that when working for a non-profit? Putting personal information at risk is never acceptable. My departure from the property was not the smoothest, but I am glad that I found the old manager (Ms. Nikki) and now I live in a modern and well-maintmore ...hide ...
