Flee! I am certain these people are swindling money from applicants. My husband applied for an apartment for our family of four. The leasing staff members were ignorant of what was needed to be eligible for the apartment. They even requested my and m Flee! I am certain these people are swindling money from applicants. My husband applied for an apartment for our family of four. The leasing staff members were ignorant of what was needed to be eligible for the apartment. They even requested my and my children's social security cards after we had already provided them with everything on their list, which took two trips since they failed to mention some requirements (which was a warning sign). I have never been asked for that information. Eventually, they decided they didn't need the kids' socials but still desired mine. I asked if it was permissible to send a duplicate via fax and they agreed. After sending it, they stated they had all that was required, but were waiting to find out if we would have to pay a security deposit or not; our credit reports were good, so this made no sense, but we accepted. The following day they phoned and inquired if we could go to the social security office and obtain a signed version. I have never heard of this in my life. We were greatly let down because the apartments looked nice. We tried to reach the corporate office but were not able to get anyone on the line and never received a call back. more ... hide ...
