It was a horrible experience living in Unit 221. Roaches were everywhere and I had heard from my neighbors that the previous resident had bed bugs. There were problems with the hot water heater for the first four months and it took them all of those months to replace it despite multiple work orders. Melody and another woman from Florida (I think her name was Lisa) were terrible and this may have been why there was a 100% turnover rate at the leasing office during my stay there - when I left, Melody was the only employee remaining! I decided not to renew my lease because by the time they released paperwork for me to sign, it was already November; when I did sign everything, they wanted me to backdate it to October 1st which obviously wasn't happening! The trash always overflowed and flies hovered over parking lot - completely horrible overall! Even my friend Stacy who you can see in reviews broke her lease 3 months after she moved due to roaches infestation. Save yourself some trouble and don't even bother considering this place as an option.more ...hide ...

It was a good place for low income seniors until last October. A construction company busted a water main that caused a flood and several apartments on each of the 3 floors were damaged as well as the lobbies. To date, no repairs have been done and no explanation to us as to why no repairs. No one seems to care about us. The repairs were finally done the end of March and all of April. One apartment on the 3rd floor had a fixture left off of the bathtub and when the water was turned on, it flooded an apartment on the 2nd floor and one one the first floor. Repairs were not done properly on these 2 but management wont correct them.more ...hide ...

Lived here for 3 years mostly due to being a quite neighborhood(pros). Cons: no ones ever available at the rental property office. No real office set business hours to visit with management to discuss your concerns or answer your questions because no ones ever there or answer the phone. Constantly going up on the price of rent with no rental price ceiling price cap. If this decision is do to the area name change from Lithonia to Stone crest at least make the renovations as the surrounding properties are doing or have done to match the required monthly fees for rent your requesting. Management is quick to put notices on your door after assumed business hours if their having inspections ( for example) 8pm at night for required very next morning inspections. But nothing is fixed properly, fix the garbage disposal switch but the garbage disposal is no longer working. Electrical sockets are not up to par meaning you may have one to each room that works sufficient but the others do not. Waited all most a whole year for a new A.C. unit for air and heat. The only reason that was fix due to me withholding rent and refusing to go through another winter without adequate heat or power source in my unit! Management / Property owners changes hands so frequently you are unable to keep up. Maintenance very rude do not know how to accurately fix anything and try to insult your intelligence by trying to place blame on the tenant until you correct him and literally have to coach also educate him on how to get the job done. Request corporates contact information several times over the course of 3 years to no avail. Also request what are Autumn Coves price ranges for selective units/plans along with what are the price ceilings for the respective units...never receive an answer !! Very unpredictable and unprofessional!! Not in the business of being a upstanding to there loyal tenants!! Pay rent faithfully and wish management or property owners will consider their tenants more that are loyal great tenants by making the necessary adjustments along with correcting the issues at hand also making the overdue upgrades to our units/property so its aquivalent to their continues upscale climbing prices.more ...hide ...
