The wind is relentless The trees are all bent from the wind and there is a steady film of dust as this is the desert side of the island The beaches may look nice but are not good for snorkeling or swimming as there is no reef and the water is roughThe wind is relentless The trees are all bent from the wind and there is a steady film of dust as this is the desert side of the island The beaches may look nice but are not good for snorkeling or swimming as there is no reef and the water is rough To snorkel you have to take a boat out or drive out 20 miles east of town to the seemingly only good snorkel spot Not much was seen on our snorkel boat tour The pool and hot tub are very nice though so if you like to swim thats the place The place has an unpleasant vibe to me with the locals trying to keep outsiders from pricing them out and the abandoned condos falling apart in the wind We will not go backmore ...hide ...
