Beautiful building. Needs better management. Seems no organized care for residents and grounds. Rules are not equally applied. Otherwise a Godsend for my mother.

I had gone to the communal visiting room, which I thought was accessible to everyone, to meet the tenant I was there to visit. Star flew into a rage and shouted that I was not allowed to be there if I didn't live there, even though there weren't any signs to that effect. Furthermore, her conduct was completely unacceptable, considering that this is supposedly a disabled apartment complex. As someone who is disabled myself, her aggression triggered an intense anxiety attack within me. I was shaking, crying and appalled at the way I had been treated – as if I was some kind of vermin and undeserving of basic respect. It is essential that someone take action and address her inappropriate, rude and unempathetic behavior. I was considering getting an apartment here, but now I wouldn't even think of it. If my life depended on it, I wouldn't set foot in the place. She destroyed my entire day because she is so miserable inside, and instead of channeling that energy into something positive, she chooses to lash out at others and make them feel worthless. Be warned – this person should not be managing a disabled community, but in prison. Someone, please put a stop to this. I feel sorry for the people living there and their family and friends who visit. It's ridiculous. Unnecessary drama from a would-be despot. That's about it.more ...hide ...
