The repair man said it wasnt an emergency and wouldnt fix it or even come out that night. I called the emergency line and the on call rep call the manager. She ended up coming out, pushing her way past me at the door, all while screaming at me while my son was sleeping in the bedroom about 15 feet away (mind you, it was about 10 at night), calling me a liar when I explained the argument with the repair guy (she told me she knew I was a liar because the repair guy told her something pertaining to the conversation I had with him although she was not involved in that conversation). The got in my face and when I said that I was going to report her to the housing authority for her treatment and attitude towards me, I received the response \"good, go right ahead\" in a very snide tone.It took about 6 months for certain repairs, most repairs that were completed were not up to code. The on-site manager usually was not in the office and was not on-site during the weekends because she said she preferred to spend the night at her boyfriends house so we were told anything that needed to be done on the weekend would need to wait until Monday. We had terrible neighbors. The one above us would be up all hours of the night stomping and banging around (which she did on purpose, I even got an audio recording of her saying she did it to piss us off all while calling us every name in the book and screaming profanity). She even harassed and assaulted us on two separate occasions and at one point tried entering our home, I called the police and when brought up to the manager, nothing was done. I ended up writing a letter to the company about the issues I had with the tenant above us, the letter was forwarded to the on-site and then the onsite actually copied that letter and gave it to the tenant above us. The letter wasnt only about the issue I had with the tenant but also contained personal identifying information. That broke many laws but the tenant and the on-site were buddy buddy so she felt it was okay to release my tenant file to her. The on-site tried denying that happened however I had the tenant admitting the release of the file on audio recording with specific details regarding my personal information and quoting letters I had sent in. I was told they could not evict her just because an altercation took place. The police were at the property almost every day for fights occurring on the property, mostly between other tenants. There were constantly drug deals occurring on the property. Some blatantly out in the parking lot ruin business hours and nothing was done to stop it.It wasnt until after I told the regional manager that if I wasnt let out of my lease then I would be pursing a civil law suit again the company and pursue criminal charges against the on-site manager if my lease wasnt terminated.Even after termination, I tried calling to see when my security deposit would be refunded and the manager said she didnt know when it would be ready. We were on day 18 after move out and still hadnt seen it. I informed the manager that in Idaho, the deposit must be refunded within 21 days of move out (30 if I agreed to an extension, which I did not) and she proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that she had 30. I informed her that I had a licensed broker with me to verify the law. She told me that the broker was wrong and would not sit and argue with me. I called the regional manager, informed him of the situation, and got a call the next morning saying my check was on the way.The manager is the most incompetent, unprofessional, low life I have ever met in real estate and I have been helping my family (who are all brokers and agents) with properties for about 15 years. Those are just a few of the dozens of problems I encountered. When the housing authority is shocked by the problems you know its bad. Trust me, for your own good, stay far away from here.more ...hide ...

Verity Property Management used to manage the property and use it as a training location, but OnPoint has taken over. With this change came greater rules enforcement, which some residents don't like. Traffic regulations Verity Property Management used to manage the property and use it as a training location, but OnPoint has taken over. With this change came greater rules enforcement, which some residents don't like. Traffic regulations are particularly strict, making it hard to get away with anything; you will get caught. People don't stay longer than one year or they get evicted because of police background checks being mandatory. Maintenance is usually on site and gets issues taken care of promptly; I was able to receive new models for my refrigerator and microwave oven. Although I personally have not had any issues with the management, there are many restrictions in place such as no holiday decorations allowed and no warning for rent increases. The manager stays in her office most of the time without an open-door policy so communication is difficult at times.more ...hide ...
