Property is centrally located in market area in the Town. Tina helped us get this apartment when I was in Manhattan, KS in short correspondence through email. I sent her my check stubs, which she determined eligibility. For every small reasons, I went to her office found welcoming and helpful. After the property sold to another landlord, another team of management with Gina came. She worked with us without any difficulty, just raised $10 more on rent. With the current management, we all members of my family felt very rude but uncooperative to tenants. I had to tell four times to fix towel hanger which came off. This remained unfixed for several months. When I requested to change the air filter every month or other, they replied it will be done once in six months. Last year in the winter our apartment building heating system broke and fixed in three days after hiring expert from third party. He told me that air filter has be replaced every month or other. It just cost few dollars to replace it, it provides good quality air and keeps heating system working without blockage or breakage. Another issue we notice is hallway to get into the building is rarely vacuumed. It stinks as doors remained closed all the time and it gets dirty. One has to compromise privacy as if you want door to open. At the time when Covid-19 transmission was in peak in Illinois, it was difficult to get in or get out of apartment without running into other people. Water and gas is free thats good point. Thats why two stars or three overall. The worst experience I ever had when two ladies who are in the management accused our son with document falsification. We lost our complete interest to live in this property she tried to ruin the future of our son. I will held them accountable for anything bad happened in his records as he is one of the best students in the IWU, always in deans list, never lied anything, received tons of metals, letters of appreciation from not only from the High School he graduated but also from the Illinois Wesleyan University. We have a lot of hope over his promising future! I would blame Lancaster Height Apartment if any personal information, banking information is lost from in future because they have our all information in paper and electronic.more ...hide ...
