As far as living in Lincoln, IL, Brainard Landings was a big step above any apartment you can get. It is section 42 housing which puts some limitations as far as who can live there (income wise) but has lots of perks liAs far as living in Lincoln, IL, Brainard Landings was a big step above any apartment you can get. It is section 42 housing which puts some limitations as far as who can live there (income wise) but has lots of perks like on site laundry, a pool, an exercise facility (small but has a lot of equipment), and a little dog park area. Some neighbors could get annoying but youll get that anywhere you live. Its also one of the only apartments you can have pets in (limit 2). The apartments might seem a bit expensive but theyre very efficient on heat/AC so you dont pay near as much in utilities. Maintenance was pretty slow, but again, thats anywhere you live it seems. Apartments, even the 1 bedrooms, were quite large and all of them have little patios or decks which are wonderful! Above all the property manager is a sweet heart! She always handled issues quickly and was willing to go above and beyond to provide excellent service. Its a super clean area as well!more ...hide ...
