This place only has cheap rent to its advantage, but you are often charged for "overages" with no explanation. Even though it is stated in our lease that the lessor is responsible for water and trash removal, you are still charged for random water fees. It is telling that the whole maintenance team left at once, and the receptionist at the front desk never stays for more than a month. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors' every move and conversation, and the walls contain numerous patch holes that will easily collapse if you are not careful. I feel they dont treat the consumers in the homes with respect at all. They dont do anything correctly until before an inspection from someone higher up in the system.

We stopped in the office recently to inquire about the community and possible open units. We did not have an appointment, but Debra was welcoming and very informative. While filling out the paperwork our family enjoyed some snacks provided by the property and were blessed to meet some community members who visited the office. We have been looking for our new home for 3 months and have yet to encounter a property manager with as much professionalism, honesty, kindness, knowledge and communication skills. We hope to make The Village At Wheeler our new home, and cannot thank Debra enough for her continued communication and support during the application process.
