I was trying to buy a home here I started to read the rules and regulations and it took me like an hour to read them By the time I was done I was so confused It talked about having a retractable clothesline but farther down on the list said you weren I was trying to buy a home here I started to read the rules and regulations and it took me like an hour to read them By the time I was done I was so confused It talked about having a retractable clothesline but farther down on the list said you werent allowed to hang anything outside It was so weird This is an Uber nice park and I understand that they want to keep it that way But I dont understand what I am getting for the rent I would be paying Because they provide no protection have to ask permission to put in a handicap ramp in a 3 season porch told me I would have to pay 100 pet deposit for my emotional support cat Now this is my indoor cat living in a home I would own not leasing from the park What I love the look of this park but I am now debating whether I want to move into a park that wants to control what I do in my house more ... hide ...

My family has lived here for YEARS My mother was here for 10 years and my wife and kids we have 5 have been here for at least 4nnA couple years ago we became Christian We had been thru a LOT and it was just time to better our lives and find our purpo My family has lived here for YEARS My mother was here for 10 years and my wife and kids we have 5 have been here for at least 4nnA couple years ago we became Christian We had been thru a LOT and it was just time to better our lives and find our purposennAnd we did And we began to practice our Faith as a family by writing a Bible verse on the front of our home in Dry Erase markernnWe started doing that IMMEDIATELY after realizing what we had as family together IN the FAITHnnThe office almost IMMEDIATELY told us we had to take down the writingnnThe manager Lordes said that it was offensive to people and they did not allow writing ON the housesnYet quite a few people have their personal art ON their homesnnI did NOT know our RIGHTS at this point BUT still refused to take it down as the 1st Amendment says that CONGRESS cannot make a law against practicing Faith so how could these peoplennSO we came to an agreement in regards to the versesnnWe said that we would take the verses off of the house and put them on a nice whiteboard with a wooden easel and THAT was the agreement that the office okayd Literally she said ok almost 2 years agonnSo for 2 years almost now THAT is what we have done as a family together with me and our childrennnMe and the kids hand pick and write Bible verses on the sign together while we study together we ALSO have Bible studies at our house with a few people here in the park Have been for a LONG time nownnWe LITERALLY are 247 BIBLE I even have a Youtube Channel pushing 300 subscribers now that is ALL Bible ALL the timennI have Preached in front of THOUSANDS of people on MANY channels and as a family we are making quite the name for ourselves in the Christian community even here in BelviderennSo we do the verses on the whiteboard out in front of our housenTHAT is how we practice our FaithnnAlmost 2 years now has gone by And in this past December the 2nd to be exactnnThe office manager called and told us we either take down the verses or we will get EVICTEDnnShe threatened my family with EVICTION nFor some Bible versesnnShe said back in December that it is because they offend people I had IMMEDIATELY made a FB post after the call so I would remember it AND the datenI told her then tho ABSOLUTELY NOTnnWe will NOT take them down and at that my point my kids became afraid to lose their home over this As this is HOW we practice our Faith It is spoken of in Deuteronomy 6 to write the verses on your home Right in the beginning of the chapter in verse 9 So that is what we do PEACEFULLYnnFast forward 4 months and just this past week March 4th 2021nnWe received another email from them containing another one of their famous notices nyou will see MANY complaints of those throughout these reviewsnnIn the notice again they were demanding we take down the versesnnOnly THIS time claiming it to be because they look tacky NOT because of the verses Yet in December she said it was because people were offended by the versesnnSo I offered to replace the setup of the verses to a much NICER displaynThey declined and said NO the verses need to come down either waynnPROVING that it WAS about the verses and that this was because of our FAITH Which BY LAW IS discrimination AND harassmentnnSo the story changed So Again we refusednFacing the threat of eviction and homelessness of our children we refusennI began to study A LOT a while back I found that in Illinois it is a LEGAL RIGHT for people to practice their Faith peacefully According to the Illinois Human Rights ActnnSo KNOWING that she is now lying AND discriminating against us because of our Faith VERY ILLEGAL I am leaving you all THISnnThe park is continuing to harass usnnEDIT We then put em on the golf cart and THOSE too had to come down This REALLY is a MISERABLE place to live more ... hide ...
