They micromanage the residents from what can be placed on the community free table, to where they should park their walkers and wheelchairs when away for brief stints. They removed seating in the lobby area, which is not a luxury retirement home, but rather the residents' home. As long as they, and visitors, are safe, they should be able to socialize in places of their choice and store their walkers and wheelchairs in a secure area that can be easily accessed by family and friends when they return. The people in the office are not accessible, as they often have their doors closed. They even attempted to lock the inside front door during operational hours for security. Their office doors should be open and they should monitor who is coming and going, as that is part of their job. So, do the job properly! Be friendly and personable, if possible! I am hoping that, after reading this post, Steadfast will alter the staff. I attempted to contact Steadfast a few months ago, but never received a response after leaving a message with their answering service.more ...hide ...
