do NOT move in here. Currently with the new \"renovations\" - paint that doesnt stay on the wall, \"new\" rubber glued on trim, out of code hand rails in hallways, appliances with constant maintenance needs, malfunctioning lights, spotty wifi, CARPET flooring and a $50 ceiling fan from the local Walmart - tenants are paying roughly $800 to live here. That makes sense.NOW Walnut Manor has the audacity to place these units at a $264 monthly increase of $1,064... FOR WHAT? Nothing has changed for this insane increase PER month. Lets also address to fact that the mail here has been stolen and then held from tenants for months. Lets also address that there are constant break ins of tenants and gusts cars AS WELL AS actual units that are lived in. There are tenants who have lived here for many years and are able to speak on these so called \"renovations\". The biggest \"renovations\" are just interior refacing that is subpar at best. Truly just normal upkeep of a complex that should not be costing new movers or current residents this type of pricing. In MUNCIE INDIANA they are expecting people to pay $1,166 for a single bedroom apartment with NO amenities. There is no gym here. There are no cameras for security. There are no locks to keep out those who do not live in buildings. There is no dog park. There is no covered parking or even assigned parking. If ANY of these things were present this insane increase of price would have a leg to stand on. Check out other cities if you are going to try and pull this robbery. There is nothing speical about this space for this outlandish increase of price. DO NOT live here. This new company will continue to increase prices with each passing year. This is not Carmel, Indiana. Who dares to call for this pricing in Muncie?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am unable to respond to the comment left by the intern who is in charge of social media at this time; so I will be including a picture to show this absurd increase of price. I have a collegue that was interested in a unit here and this pricing was what was told to him. As a good journalist would do - he asked residents currently living there about their experiences both good and bad as well as the prices they are paying at this time. Disappointing to see that the person speaking on behalf of management is not truthful to these changes. Or are you saying that the person who is taking applications not truthful? Or is the website not truthful?more ...hide ...

Wad trying to rent a 3 bed 2 bath and because of certain circumstances I had less than a month to find a place. Had scheduled a tour of the 3 bed but when we get there are told that its not available for tour and they show us a 2 bed. We shrug it off and tried to fill our the application anyways. 2 days before move in. But over the next day or two we keep having issues with our application going through. Nothing prompted us to even pay the application fee. After over a week of trying to call over and over leaving messages and no answers or call backs, we finally get the answer and try to get everything together finally for them to say that its first come first serve and that the apartment might not even be available anymore. But they cant check because there was someone there in the office even though they were already talking to me on the phone. They promised to call back but they never did. Dont rent here if you can avoid it. If they cant even be professional enough to get you the help to get into the darn apartment in the first place.more ...hide ...
