I've resided here for two years, and when we first arrived the management and upkeep were both satisfactory, so I enjoyed my time. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since obtaining the new management and maintenance. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since obtaining the new management and maintenance. The complex is now Section 8, thus decreasing the quality of the neighbors. The office is rarely reachable, unless Stacia is available; she is the only dependable individual in the office. Maintenance will appear if necessary, but they rarely solve the problem properly. The unit above mine had water line leaks three times in a six month span, thus causing mold and mildew to grow on my walls and in the cabinets. Even after notifying them, the Indiana Board of Health was contacted after the initial water leak had been occurring for six months. The cabinets were not substituted, which had been warped from the excessive water damage, and the baseboards were not changed either. A maintenance person was sent over to simply clean the mold with bleach, and the water stained ceilings were simply painted over. The office no longer accepts packages, and if sent to your unit, they will be taken. I wish I could alert the next people that move into that unit about the issues. The rent cost is too steep for the amenities provided; therefore, it would be beneficial to choose someplace else if you are looking to rent. more ... hide ...

I had been living in a single-bedroom flat in the area for the duration of my full-term lease without any issues, so I decided to renew, but upgrade to a two-bedroom since a baby boy was about to arrive. I now regret this decision. I now regret this decision. Since I moved in, there have been complications. I instantly reported around 30 work orders. Instead of cooperating with me to solve the issues, they initially proposed that I end the lease for free since I was “extremely unsatisfied here”. Clearly, that wasn't the situation, as I extended my lease, I just desired the work to be done. Fortunately, that got worked out. Afterwards, somebody broke into my car right outside of my apartment at the outset of 2022. I am aware that there have been several other car burglaries, as well as people stealing mail, such as my baby's clothing. Now, I am confronting bats in the walls of the apartment (and one that came into my apartment). I have been told on three or more occasions that the issue would be solved "soon" or a later date. It has been more than a week and they are still there. The office blocked my post to the community board regarding the issue and are not being honest with me about the steps they are taking/have taken to deal with it. Apparently, the office contacted corporate about it and rather than notifying everyone in the building who is in danger of getting rabies or any other illness more ... hide ...
