This would have demonstrated an effort to care for the inhabitants, but I did see the children of the occupants arriving to take their parents away from the situation. Additionally, she is making a comment on the matter this evening. One final point to consider is that, if the maintenance had been conducting the usual assessment for the building, these issues would have been noticed prior to their occurrence and not afterwards, when it appears that one is trying to hide their culpability. As the proverb says, "If you knew better, you would do better." And one of my personal favorites, "Common sense is the least that a person can have, and sometimes common sense isn't common." I hope the office lady has a peaceful sleep tonight, while others cannot, and that you invite the affected people to sit in your office tomorrow with the new air conditioning unit, if theirs is not fixed.
