At first, I was having an amazing experience and thought that I would really enjoy the new management. Sadly, I recently learned that my lease, which does not expire until the summer, is of no worth to them anymore. I am being asked to leave and find a new residence in February, despite the fact that I have never broken my current lease, which I was told would be respected by the new management. Since I am not from the area, relocating is not a viable option for me, so I am facing the risk of being homeless for the winter. When I told the older lady at the front office that my lawyer only wanted to see a copy of the lease, she acted as if she had no idea what she was doing, and was extremely impolite and unprofessional. Furthermore, she did not provide any useful information on why she suddenly had the right to evict me, and did not suggest any reasonable solution. I would like to talk to someone higher up who could help me comprehend this chaos. I am a responsible tenant who pays my bills on time or even early, and keeps my apartment and its vicinity neat and presentable whenever possible.
