My family and I have occupied this residence for nearly a year. The apartments appear nice but are quite aged and beginning to show signs of wear. It is centrally placed in a great locale, and it is extremely pet-friendly. They also keep up their grounds properly. The maintenance employees are occasionally helpful, able to accomplish simple tasks within a day or two. Yet, when a complicated job requires more time and money, they become very unwilling. For instance, our flat's furnace was wearing out and it required them four weeks to diagnose and patch it. After those four weeks of sweltering in the apartment, they eventually accepted to replace the unit, though the parts would take another two weeks to arrive. Additionally, one of the rooms in our flat is extremely cold, 15-25° colder than the rest of the apartment, and all they proposed was to adjust the vents; they were hesitant to do any significant repairs. These apartments are really nice, and well-maintained. The staff is great; whenever I have an issue with my place, maintenance fixes it right away. There's a lot to love about the community, but there are some negatives people should be aware of before moving here. For example, you'll have to go pick up any packages from the post office--it's 16 minutes away and they won't deliver them to our doors or mailboxes. Additionally, if you get an apartment in building 2104, college girls may call the police on you over made-up stuff--they actually did this to me at midnight! The security hired by this complex has no respect for anyone either; one night they knocked on my door for an hour straight and I had to call the real police on them! Plus they often come around after 9PM and harass people--it's caused me PTSD. In spite of this though, the staff do their best to help as quickly as possible when needed. Maybe they could bring in a better security system or prevent young college kids from living here so issues like these don't happen? For what you pay here, you could get a bigger place somewhere else without all this drama. My family feels targeted here so we're leaving soon; taking into account both tenants and security I have no choice but give it a poor rating overall - good luck if you stay! more ... hide ...
