I lived in this place for a year, and it was far from a luxurious complex. From the start, I had a litany of issues. When we moved in, the floors were so dirty that it left black stains on our feet. When we moved in, the floors were so dirty that it left black stains on our feet. We had to stop unpacking and clean the place instead. The kitchen sink hadn't been sealed properly, leaving gaps that allowed water to seep underneath. We requested for it to be caulked, and it was eventually done. The kitchen counter contact paper was flipping up around the stove. There were also brown recluse spiders. The vinyl floors weren't sealed, so they were easily damaged. The weather strip from the front door fell on me when I first moved in, and both windows in the apartment broke. To fix the broken windows, they broke them even more. On top of all these issues, they conducted MONTHS of construction above me from December 26th to mid-February without warning, accommodations, or an apology for the noise. The property manager told me I was out of line for being upset. The construction woke us up at 7am with loud noises, and the crew had an xenophobic attitude which my roommate, a child of an immigrant, didn't appreciate.
