Mildred had been a great help at another property, and when it became apparent that we earned too much to qualify, we were directed here. However, I was disappointed. We chose a unit that was the same price as one that had a full-sized washer and dryer and a huge tub, but the unit we were offered had half the amenities. We provided some laughs at the office, but when they found out we held medical marijuana cards, they seemed to suddenly turn away from us. I attempted to contact them multiple times, but they ignored me after I had paid the application fee. When we finally got in touch with them, we were informed that we earned too much for the income-based apartments (which were priced at $930 a month). We decided to cancel and asked for help with income-based housing, but our request was ignored. Mildred had put in a lot of effort to get my mother a unit, yet here we were, almost homeless, and being taken advantage of for the application fees. Thank you, Mildred, for squandering our time and money.more ...hide ...

Three different management companies took over and attempted to make changes, but eventually the place was sold due to the amount of required work. The management company that is in charge now, however, did what they could to help me. Give them a chance and Jenay may surprise you.
The complex looks nice, however when you go inside one of the apartments, it's clear that the construction was done in a hurry - vents and light switches were improperly installed, the dishwasher wasn't secured to the counter and the upstairs neighbors didn't use a shower curtain, leading to water damage. The carpet was never cleaned from the previous tenant, and there was dirt and grime in the fibers.
I may not have been a perfect neighbor during my two years there, but some of the other tenants were really disrespectful - I, along with my roommate, had to make multiple domestic abuse calls on our upstairs neighbor, and there was music being played loudly past midnight on weekdays, with no regard for anyone else. We were pretty sure that our apartment was connected to theirs through ventilation, as there's no way the weed smell could have come through the floor like that.
To be clear, this isn't the fault of Jenay or the current management company. I just wanted to provide examples of what you may experience.more ...hide ...

When I first moved here, I wasn't informed that there was no office manager or maintenance tech. I have experienced everything from noisy trifling neighbors to bugs and things not getting fixed or taking months to be acknowledged. My ceiling is leaking as I am writing this and I was told they weren't fixing it because I'm going to move. All they did was patch it. To me, this place is a joke.
I moved here while pregnant and it has been a pain. I pay too much in rent to not even be compensated a little. The last few months, they finally did get new staff and of course, they are backed up on work orders. If I had the money to break my lease, I would have but seeing how it would cost the same as paying rent,
I'm staying until my lease is up.more ...hide ...

It took me and my roommate an outrageous three months to finish the application procedure since the website was so perplexing. We even invested five hours in their leasing office with a lady assisting us with it. Upon being affirmed, we paid our security deposit (which got lost later on) and were given a move-in date. On that day, we headed to the apartment only to discover it wasn't ready yet. We didn't get prior notification and had to wait another week for moving in. Once inside, signing our lease was done hurriedly, and they said we could pay rent and water bill online each month - which never worked out right! Every single month for eight months (and still going on), our account was wrongly charged online forcing us to pay extra for money orders every time. After putting up with this for seven months, an eviction letter was outside my door saying I owed over one thousand dollars; however, after presenting them all receipts demonstrating timely payment of everything monthly - they revealed they hadn't made a copy of security deposit so had lost it! Despite providing proof of paying everything on schedule, they said our account is being examined thoroughly - still haven't received confirmation that won't be evicted though! Our lease won't be renewed once up either! Do not waste your time here as they are unorganized , rude plus uncooperative .more ...hide ...

Even residents who live here with their apartment permits are getting their vehicles towed and the office managers laugh when confronted and think its funny. People live here on a fixed income and have to pay towing expenses, $175.00, with money they dont have this place is not family friendly, this is why they are moving.... Dont move here if you have a family or friends or caretakers who need to come help you and you cant afford the extra expense....more ...hide ...
