I resided in the complex for 3 years and had no issues. However, when I phoned today to ask when I would get my deposit back, the situation changed. The first young lady I spoke to was professional, but it went downhill after she transferred me to an older lady in the office. She was very impolite on the phone and hung up before I could finish my inquiry. She claimed that there was no deposit being returned as they had to hire a professional to patch the walls where TVs were mounted in the living room and 2 bedrooms. At first, I was told I could mount TVs, but on move-out I had to fill up the holes. My repair job was not professional, yet I still patched the walls when I left. Additionally, she said the apartment had to be cleaned. I said I had photos to prove it was clean before we left, and she replied that the "cleaning is subjective". In the end, my deposit was withheld because I hung TVs on the wall, as I was told I could, and didn't "professionally" repair the wall when I moved out. more ... hide ...
