It is not a residential community like the Senior apartment complex across the street. This is merely where you reside. Respect your neighbors' privacy and stay out of their affairs. Maintenance, garbage collection, pest control, and other services, depending on the property company's regulations, can be subsidized. The apartments are kept clean and they make efforts to keep up with decent housing standards. Nonetheless, it is still an apartment. You won't have the solitude of a private residence.
