My grandmother has found her experience at Atria Maplewood Place to be very enjoyable and rewarding. Ever since my grandfather passed away, I have not seen her as content as she is now. Ever since my grandfather passed away, I have not seen her as content as she is now. She has formed friendships that could last her or their lifetime. She is pleased residing independently in her own apartment when she prefers. I have noticed her weight has increased due to the regular and diverse food they provide, her disposition is positive, and her aches and pains have significantly decreased as a result of improved eating habits, weight gain, and increased strength and autonomy (which means less reliance on her cane). The personnel at the Malden, Massachusetts location are remarkable, from the waitstaff to the administrators. I am happy that as a family, we concluded that Maplewood Place is the best solution for my active 84-year-old grandmother, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although it was tough to physically be with her during the lockdown, the reception staff tried their best to keep the families informed and organized private visits when possible. At a time of great distress for everyone, Maplewood Place made the process easy, giving all of us comfort. Used to be an amazing place but since new management has come in they have gone completely down hill A family member of mine is a resident there fell earlier this week and we were not notified until she fell AGAIN the next day and was sent to Mass G Used to be an amazing place but since new management has come in they have gone completely down hill A family member of mine is a resident there fell earlier this week and we were not notified until she fell AGAIN the next day and was sent to Mass General The staff at Mass General has been trying to get into contact with someone at the Atria to discuss her care and her daily medications and they have not once returned their phone calls Really unfortunate as some of the workers there are incredibly kind people but management really needs to figure out what theyre doing because the resident care is suffering more ... hide ...
