To start with, the corridors appear as if they have not been vacuumed or mopped in a long time. The passages have a potent stench that can sometimes be disgusting. Furthermore, a close friend of mine has an apartment here, and while her unit is quite pleasant, she has had a leak in her second bedroom for months and has asked on numerous occasions for it to be settled as it has caused a mold problem. This is worrying because she has a major medical condition and her doctors are anxious that the mold is impacting her health and have recommended that she stay somewhere else until it is taken care of. I am writing this because as a confidant and visitor I am very concerned with the lack of consideration this matter has been given especially since she has been requesting that it be fixed for months now. I am hoping this review will bring attention to this issue so it can be solved. Otherwise, I will have to contact city code enforcement as this is obviously a violation and if something happens to her I will have no other option but to seek legal action for this issue.more ...hide ...

Constant fire alarms, cockroaches in what should have been a clean apartment, and electrical issues not fixed despite having been reported a week ago are only some of the issues. On Monday morning at 5am, the fire alarm woke both myself and my fiancé, as well as our two young sons, up in fright. My fiancé rushed upstairs to check if there was an actual fire, but due to being scared out of his sleep, he cut himself on the door latch and needed stitches, which forced me to take the day off work to take care of our sons. On Tuesday night at 10pm, the alarm sounded again, and then at 12am and 6am the following day. All of the alarms occurred during our sleeping hours, the longest lasting 47 minutes, and the shortest 25 minutes. Even when I wake up between 630-7am for work, I don't want to be woken up by a loud false fire alarm. Something needs to be done about it as this is not a safe nor a comfortable living situation. Eventually, there will be an actual fire and no one will think to evacuate the building due to the numerous false alarms. I am paying a lot of money for rent, so I would like to be able to enjoy it without having to be woken up at such inconvenient hours. Unfortunately, I still have another seven months of this torture.more ...hide ...
