For around two years, I have been living at Langham, and until recently, I never had any issues. During the last month, however, there has been no hot water available in the morning, between 6.30am to 8am. During the last month, however, there has been no hot water available in the morning, between 6.30am to 8am. We have complained multiple times, but the response has been cold and unhelpful - they say it's only me who is complaining. I have also been told to take a shower at a different time because it's too busy in the morning. I don't think this is an appropriate way to solve the problem, especially when I'm paying such a high price for the place. Ivan and his team have inspected the bathroom and changed the valve, but to no avail. We have suggested that someone might be misusing the hot water or something is wrong in my apartment, but they refuse to believe us. They usually check the bathroom during less busy times, like 4-5pm, so of course the water runs hot then. However, I'm not asking for boiling water, just one that's warm enough for a shower. This has been an ongoing issue with no clear resolution. Even though it's slightly warm now, it's still too cold to take a shower with near-freezing water. What a joy it was to be invited and sing Christmas songs with another staff person who had a great voice, I was thankful for her as we got to sing to their residents of course we followed social distance guidelines set iWhat a joy it was to be invited and sing Christmas songs with another staff person who had a great voice, I was thankful for her as we got to sing to their residents of course we followed social distance guidelines set in place, so we were on the outside on the sidewalk and she and I together we did Christmas songs for the residents listening from their bedroom windows and wherever they could listen inside there and we had a blast doing it! My case manager Demetrius set this up so that the residents could have a nice Christmas! That is one experience Im sure myself and the staff lady will never forget as we got to bring a little bit of Christmas spirit and joy to the elderly and the Senior residence of Hearth! £ And the really cool thing is they put the video on Facebook as well I didnt even know we were going on Facebook! And now its an honor to be a part of their 30 years celebration! This organization has done so much for me I cant even begin to express to you how much they mean to me! more ...hide ...
