I lived here back in the 80s; this place was far from being luxurious or a great place but it was what I called home for the first 9 years of my life. Plumley provided the basics like a roof over our heads and a steel door between us and the streets.I dont take things for granted and I am thankful that there are places like this for people who need housing. Living here also motivated me to continue with my education, and realize the things I need to do to never have to come back.I still drive through Worcester from time to time and seeing Plumley Village reminds me that, where there is a will there is a way... that because your raised in there doesnt mean your doomed to be stuck there; the cycle can be broken.Thank You Plumley Village and community; Ive made some good memories along with the bad ones in a place I once called home; but I will not be returning in this lifetime :)more ...hide ...
