My 97 year old mother suffered a broken hip, spending three months in rehab before being discharged. Due to her increased care needs, she was unable to move back to her previous assisted living home. From the moment I diMy 97 year old mother suffered a broken hip, spending three months in rehab before being discharged. Due to her increased care needs, she was unable to move back to her previous assisted living home. From the moment I dialed Cedar Dell, the staff had been supportive and accommodating. During the tour and move-in process, they made my mother and I feel welcome, and the transition was effortless. The staff are friendly and have been attentive to her requirements. This period was very stressful for me but Cedar Dell has made the transition much smoother. Mom is delighted, and I am sure she is in excellent care. After 5 1/2 months, visitation is still restricted due to Covid-19, but Cedar Dell has been able to balance safety with family involvement, changing visiting regulations as the situation progressed. Recently, I was able to pay her a visit in her apartment, finding her in great condition and joyous. Issues regarding her health or needs are addressed quickly, providing both her and her family with a sense of security. She is incredibly content at Cedar Dell.more ...hide ...
