I would give it no stars if I could. It used to be a very friendly atmosphere and had management professionals that were polite and very helpful to residents. Now this building is nothing but a prison!!! Peabody properties has a person by the name of Janeah Roderick managing this property now. She is an awful person, shes very rude and disrespectful to ALL of the residents and any guests that come to visit their family/friends. She threatens residents with eviction if they open the front door for ANYONE including other residents or if they breathe the wrong way. I personally witnessed her ask a little old lady that lives there why she was staring at her. Smh.. If there was EVER a help me hank segment or undercover investigation done in this building on this manager, not only would she be immediately fired but she would also face some legal consequences for mistreatment/mental and emotional abuse of elder/ handicapped persons and for all of the wrongful evictions that she has been the mastermind of (along with their ignorant scumbag attorneys from TURK & QUIJANO Law firm located in Braintree Ma). She has homemakers cars towed that are there to care for elderly clients. Caregivers are paid way less than they deserve as it is and for them to go to work and have their cars towed is ridiculous. In all the years my realtive had resided in this building (33) I have never seen such distasteful, disrespectful and out right ignorant behavior from a manager.. Theyve also been \"updating\" the decor in the building and I must say that it looks like a true nursing home now. I dont know whats going on with Peabody Properties and their hiring process but if theyre going to hire someone to manage a elderly/handicapped apartment building they should make sure that its someone who is mentally equipped to be in that type of environment. This building is no longer a great place to live and its all because the residents feel like prisoners in whats supposed to be their own homes. Many of the residents are afraid to come forward and speak up for themselves because they fear facing eviction or disciplinary actions from Ms.Roderick, which is so sad and seriously unfair to them. I hope that someone helps these residents before more of them wind up homeless at 70 and 80 years of age. Smh. Ms.Roderick will sit in a court and let nothing but lies spill out of her mouth in order to have a resident evicted that she doesnt want there anymore. If a real good attorney ever found out the truth about this place and this womans actions and took her to court, peabody properties would have a major lawsuit to pay out to the residents especially the ones that have been wrongfully evicted. If you are thinking about living here and want to live freely and be respected in your home...RUN!!!!more ...hide ...
