My parents live here Its a nice place for seniors to reside Lots of activities and field trips for them to go on

My mother Trudy Faust was one of the first residents to move into The Coolidge She moved up to MA from Fl to be near me At first she lived in the first place we could get in Hudson but it had absolutely nothing for seniors so when she moved to The Co My mother Trudy Faust was one of the first residents to move into The Coolidge She moved up to MA from Fl to be near me At first she lived in the first place we could get in Hudson but it had absolutely nothing for seniors so when she moved to The Coolidge we both were very excitednMom watched the buildings go up planned her placement of furniture and became the talent in a video promotional for it which was a quite a welcoming for someone who adores attention The location in was perfect for me only twenty minutes away Mom was a relatively healthy and certainly enthusiastic 93 year old But last week Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep at 95 The Coolidge immediately offered to have a Celebration of Life gathering for Trudy because almost all the residents including the managers Julie and Peggy were deeply shocked and grieving the loss of this live wire amazing kind funny and charming womannnThe Coolidge did not charge me a dime The managers baked muffins made a huge fruit salad discussed a plan for the day and facilitated a truly wonderful ending that my mother would have lovednnMom had been admitted to the hospital at least twice since she lived there for heart problems Julie one of the managers offered to go to the hospital and assisted in calming down me and my terrified mother Where can you find such caring Plus my mother had a beautiful apartmentnI have to say that The Coolidge does a great job in creating a community and is constantly improving activities for the residents as well My mother raved about Julies exercise class and barely missed a day going to itnnThe Coolidge will miss my mother and I will be making a point of befriending the managers and the wonderful people who live there that have now become part of my life and I dont even live there more ... hide ...
