UPDATED REVIEW 11292022nBecause of my experience with the John Manley House over a period of 7 years I decided to stay in my home for now and to either buy a condo or rent a market rate apartment in the future At this point I am not interestedUPDATED REVIEW 11292022nBecause of my experience with the John Manley House over a period of 7 years I decided to stay in my home for now and to either buy a condo or rent a market rate apartment in the future At this point I am not interested in any contact from John Manley House or Habitat America employeennBecause of the lack of information specificallynwhen I ask a question the questions was not answered fully the staffer acts like she has better things to do than talk with me or help me gather enough information to make a decision as whether I even want to live at John Manley Housenthe office staff has never created a 12 sheet handout with general information about the facility just in case a perspective renter actually gets into the officenI was told to go to the internet to find out more information a waste of my time since the Habitat America web site posts averages from all their facilities from all over the country on their web site I was only interested in information that pertains to the John Manley Housenthere is a lack of interest in getting information to perspective renters via email I asked directly if the staffer had information about the John Manley House that she could send to me via emal NOnthe only time I was shown an apartment in the 7 years I was interested in moving the John Manley House I said I wanted a 2 bedroom apartment and I was shown a studio apartmentnIn frustration I contact the boss of the staffer of John Manley House at their Headquarters At that point in time I still needed information is there a separate waiting list for the 2 bedroom apartments how many times can a perspective tenant reject an opportunity to see or take an apartment before their name is removed from The Waiting List cost of rent autopay option for rent income restrictions pet policy parking policy utilities and who pays what what happens if you become temporally disabled Can you have a livein temporally or must I go to a Nursing Home to recover any restrictions on overnight guests does this senior housing facility actively monitor if residents are mobile and safe in their apartment if so how I wanted this information in order to decide if I reapply to this facility In response to these specific questions the woman at HQ forwarded to me a 27 page documentnnIN SHORT expect no useful information or help from the office or from Habitat America to have your needs and your questions ignored expect that you will be called AFTER the apartment is ready for show and be given the opportunity to see the apartment and decide within 2 days if you want an apartment It would be a simple procedure for those who wanted as much advance notice of an apartment to show the apartment before the repairs and painting begin In this way I could figure out if my furniture and belongings would fit in the apartment I am currently an active seniormore ...hide ...
