This was a huge mistake moving my mom here You dont get what they promise Their night time staff are rude and incompetent My mother has had several strokes and does not move around like everyone else and the night team makes her feel bad for it and t This was a huge mistake moving my mom here You dont get what they promise Their night time staff are rude and incompetent My mother has had several strokes and does not move around like everyone else and the night team makes her feel bad for it and threatens to charge her for their help She has fallen in their care because they dont listen to her on how she needs to do things so they she doesnt fall If her toilet is clogged they dont call Maintenance They call a family member that lives 45 minutes away and tells them they have to come and unclog a toilet They say theres daily trash removal there is not in their trash room is not handicap accessible so it makes it hard for my mother to take her trash down in her wheelchair the management is no help either No one ever has any answers for anything and no one is willing to help This was a huge waste of money and time ever moving her there and I would beware if your parent needs any kind of assistance because they dont like giving it more ... hide ...

We moved our Mom in this past September We can not say enough about the staff Moving her into assistant living was a difficult decision We could not be happier with American House Riverview She has her own 2 bedroom apartment that is very well maint We moved our Mom in this past September We can not say enough about the staff Moving her into assistant living was a difficult decision We could not be happier with American House Riverview She has her own 2 bedroom apartment that is very well maintained The staff is AMAZING to name a few Taja and Nichole who led us through the move in process and took a very personal interest in getting to know us and our familys needs All of the food service staff and cleaning personal are very friendly and sweet they make my Mom feel special They have been able to address all of our concerns Covid has added restrictions and they have taken measures to keep the facility safe Large group gatherings had to be cut back at this time but they have found ways to keep some interactions with the residents We are grateful to have our Mom there where we know she will be well taken care of and kept safe My Mom still has her own personal space and dignity loves the meals they provide more ... hide ...
