The female staff members in the office are incredibly amiable, proficient, and prompt, even friendlier towards our pup :) The units are pleasant and well-maintained, our 1 Bedroom Kitchen is quite roomy with lots of storage space. The bathroom is surprisingly commodious too! Our bedroom has TWO walk-in closets. We can never detect any noise coming from the next apartments so they must be soundproofed or we happen to have quiet neighbors. The grounds are well taken care of in the summertime, lush grass, and plants. In the winter they take away the snow from the pavements. (The only downside in the winter is that you cannot park on the street at night, but that is a municipal regulation, not Park Terrace rules. There are enough parking spots to make up for it.) There are a couple of playgrounds around the property and walkways.Maintenance personnel never enter the apartments without permission (we know because we have cameras for the dog), and if they are going to come for regular inspections - they send a notification to give at least a week’s notice.Would heartily advocate to anyone in search of a tranquil, neighborhood-feel apartment complex. :)more ...hide ...

But then after the first 3yrs the maintenance guy left and found a better paying job and the office management got fired thats when all hell broke. They kept hiring these horrible workers and things wasnt getting done as needed or properly in a time fashion. Now too many complaints and too many different rules, lots of friendly people moved elsewhere. Especially a rule stating CHILDREN CAN NOT RIDE BIKES OR PLAY OUTSIDE UNLESS AN ADULT OUTSIDE WITH THEM and strange new maintenance man talking to my children, thats when you done crossed the line with me. So yes god says its time for me and my family to gooo. I give it 2 stars now days but great prices to rentmore ...hide ...

The maOffice staff is rude and treat the residents like children not senior citizens. Call the cops on people they dont like and harass people with the police even when the person they say cant be there isnt even there. The maintenance staff have relations with multiple residents like its a high school dance. When a resident passes away the maintenance worker sold their furniture to other residents when it should of been donated to the less fortunate people. And they are racist. I would never have another friend or family member move in there. It used to be a great place to live my mother loved it until the new manager took over. While moving my mother out they said I would be arrested if I stepped foot on the property. I have helped out so many people there and get treated like that. And they called the police on my disabled mother saying that a 65 year old disabled woman in a wheelchair was making threats to the office. The people who work there should all be fired and replaced with more competent staff.more ...hide ...
