It is filled with druggies and drunks who frequently get in fights. You can hear them yelling from inside your house, despite the thin walls. Not only that, but there are roaches and ants everywhere due to its filthiness, and cracks in the windows make it hard to keep warm; I've had to keep my heat above 80 just for my small place! The security at the front desk always has a bad attitude towards everyone who comes in (regardless if they live there or not) and swears/makes threats at guests. My younger sister comes over sometimes since I'm 8 months pregnant, but I still have to go down stairs just so she can get in since she's under 18. Both kitchen and bathroom sink gave me problems since moving in; however, they were fixed last month after three attempts by incompetent workers. This was my first (and worst) experience with renting an apartment - if only someone told me beforehand! But now I know - always check into things first! When I'm back on my feet again after childbirth, I'll be leaving ASAP - can't wait! Good luck with your search :)more ...hide ...

The building was renovated in 2014 by Wolverine Construction and I think they did an amazing job, these apartments are really nice. The managers who work in the office went out of their way for me and worked extremely hard to get me into this place as quickly as possible. I have a history of being homeless and have difficulty working due to severe mental and emotional impairments, under normal circumstances someone like me could never afford an apartment this nice. Everyone else who lives here seems pretty friendly. There is a gentleman who comes in and keeps the hallways clean. It is a true blessing to live here.more ...hide ...
