The building has multiple drug dealers living in it, so if you're unfortunate enough to be next door to one, you'll have to put up with traffic at all hours. There are continuous issues with heating and cooling which the management takes weeks to fix. Furthermore, the washer and dryer machines are always having problems and also require a long time to be fixed. The parking lots are not supervised, even though the management claims they are. The gym in the basement is nice, but often young children are playing there. The leasing office at Klingman was shut a while ago, so if you need anything, you have to go to the Baker Lofts office, which is usually open 8:30 - 4:30. Their phone system is usually "broken", so email is your best bet to reach them. In case of an emergency, you can call the emergency cell phone, but the people are a bit suspicious. We had a problem with our fire alarms going off and I called the emergency line when I got home from work (5:30pm) and was told that he would charge me if I wanted help outside of working hours or wait until morning. All in all, the apartments look nice, but the management is a chaotic mess and are very untrustworthy.more ...hide ...

The building was renovated in 2014 by Wolverine Construction and I think they did an amazing job, these apartments are really nice. The managers who work in the office went out of their way for me and worked extremely hard to get me into this place as quickly as possible. I have a history of being homeless and have difficulty working due to severe mental and emotional impairments, under normal circumstances someone like me could never afford an apartment this nice. Everyone else who lives here seems pretty friendly. There is a gentleman who comes in and keeps the hallways clean. It is a true blessing to live here.more ...hide ...
