The hot water would even go out for hours on end. When you try to call no one ever answers and if you go to the manager's "office" she is never there. The shared washers and dryers don't work and one of the dryers had its handle broken off by another tenant and it never got fixed, leaving only one. Some of the neighbors are too lazy to take their trash to the dumpster only twenty feet away and instead dump it in the laundry room, which causes the hallways to smell and the smell eventually spreads to your home. What really bothers me is that we left the apartment spotless and yet they took our entire $500 deposit and then had the gall to send us a letter saying we owe them an extra $312.00! If they want it paid they expect you to do it in ten days or they will send it to a collection agency. I would strongly advise you to stay away from any of the Sand Companies Properties or else you'll be sorry and you won't get your deposit back. Absolutely awful "company"! more ... hide ...

To our surprise, we received a bill for the repair (which was not included in the lease). The washers and dryers in the building are outdated and not worth the cost of the $1 wash and $2 dry. Therefore, I have to take my laundry to the laundromat. Kids are running around the streets at all hours, and the walls are so thin that you can hear what your neighbors are doing all day. The parking situation is also out of control. Everyone has a driveway space and one space in front of the building, but there are only three spots available for six different units - it's infuriating! All in all, this is not a great place to live. The only good thing about it is the price. I would not come back here again. more ... hide ...
