Consistent complaints from 15+renters with the common response €œif you don€™t like it leave€ filed complaints on these health code violations and Heidi€™s (landlord) response is always €œif you do not like it leave it is not our responsibility to keep this place running.€ To each tenant filing. Heidi has also been caught disposing of paperwork complaints of tenants and in lies to the grounds maintenance Dan, in which he was shocked to find we€™ve been filing complaints and her speaking she never received from any of us. She has also been up charging new tenants with homes filled with infestations. Tenants whom were not told of the infestations running rampant in each of these apartment complexes of 10+ homes.Every single one is infested to the point the building requires a full cleansing and possibly a €œnot fit to live in€. Yes it€™s that bad. Plenty of homes are immaculate and without food and waste to feed these pests. The exterminator has been called in my four years living here four times. The roaches were climbing around before moving in and I was told my apartment was clean and they would take care of the infestations.Four years later and you cannot eat, drink, cook, wash dishes, or store anything without hundreds of roaches falling out of cupboards/holes in walls, the heat registers, the sink and toilet each day. Some apartments are much worse off than my own sadly and I consider mine an acute case.Tenants are now calling the health code office of the Minnesota attorney general Keith Ellison to have the place exterminated and cleaned out or Heidi removed, paying for massive personal damages (many have lost thousands of dollars and she has the gall to pocket hundreds from each tenant paying full without up keeping the grounds she made a oath to keep as a landlord to her tenants. As this is a HUD property their are many young children from infant to teenage as well as many older individuals of 50-60+ living here in these foul and heinous conditions. These are crimes of multiple degrees and the tenants are finally gaining a Voice against abuse of power. The tenants have informed Heidi and both HUD and the Health Code Department for inspections in an emergency crisis of purely unlivable conditions. This is a perfect example of embezzling vulnerable children AND adults of disabilities, race, and multiple civil rights violations while sucking their limited incomes of her gain, threatening the tenants with fear and eviction, enforcing rent or eviction of nonpayment. Thankfully HUD inspects the premise earlier than she was informed and so does the Minnesota Dept of Health violations. Change will be coming and it will be for the tenants who€™ve been abused by their caretaker and her lack of fulfilling her lawful duties and requirements as not only a landlord but a HUD Federal Housing Agency Landlord. Four years I€™ve watched this place and finally the people rise and speak out. One star for the bare minimum of events being described (there is plenty more) and hopefully after the inspections and much required change of management after the filings to the state and complete overhaul of the apartments lack of health for the entire tenant community we will re-evaluate.more ...hide ...
