The management and staff at Urban Park Apartments are friendly and helpful, but most of the time spent living there is in one's own apartment, which is poorly constructed. It is so thin that every sound from down the hallways sounds like stomping, and you can even hear the neighbors beneath you (when I lived on the top floor). Half of the tenants take care of the place, while the other half smoke in the stairwell, leave their pet's feces on the stairs, don't bother with taking the recycling to the garage, and some even litter the parking lot. Police were often at the building, and I was woken up by drunken fights at 2-3am. It is sad that the older tenants who live there for convenience due to having family members in the memory care apartments across the street must live in such a disrespectful environment and with management that does not enforce consequences. My overall impression is that Urban Park Apartments is only concerned with making money and does not care about the atmosphere or tenant behavior.more ...hide ...
