However, they have failed to communicate respectfully with the residents and to provide them a way of interacting with the activities director. A television in the exercise room is not what's needed; it would be more beneficial placed in the lobby, above the fireplace, so that Trellis/Trinity and activities director could display notices, updates and schedules for all occupants. (2) When this building was undergoing rehabilitation two years ago, security should have been integrated into its layout then; this reveals inadequate preparation and consideration for people's behavior as well as an overall lack of care for this neighbourhood's vulnerable population. Furthermore, there should be separate access to the kitchen so that residents can use it safely. (3) The patio area gets too hot during summer due to its lack of shade; something needs to be installed on top of the gas grills in order to cast some shadow over that area. Moreover, although umbrellas are present they take two persons to open them and do not tilt enough when exposed to direct sunlight from late afternoon onwards - rain also makes them unstable on their tables - same happening at rear tables where grills are located but never used anyway due their high costs. (4) In conclusion it appears Trellis lacks vision since all they seem interested in is providing basic living quarters "independently" while disregarding any notion of visibility frommore ...hide ...
