2022-07-19T14:14:11ZI have lived here at the legends since March 2021 and for the most part I like it here but you knew that was coming I have called about my air conditioning unit more than 3 times and theyve come out to fix it and have said its leaking somewhere but I have lived here at the legends since March 2021 and for the most part I like it here but you knew that was coming I have called about my air conditioning unit more than 3 times and theyve come out to fix it and have said its leaking somewhere but they dont know where When calling to report it the manager is not following up with me to let me know what is happening My maintenance ticket have been closed out with no call back an no one seem to know who has closed them I realize that we are in the middle of a heatwave and staff is short but I also know communication is important The old saying goes you get more with sugar than salt One negative experience can travel farther than a positive experience People remember the negative more than a positive Communication is the key here let your residents know what going on instead of know call backs Im waiting more ... hide ...

2022-05-23T13:02:20ZUpdatennWe recently were informed that rent will be changinghas changed Mine will be going up 170 To say that I am shocked is an understatement That is over 13 rental increasennAll of the management people Kristen and Perla are leaving Our beloved ma UpdatennWe recently were informed that rent will be changinghas changed Mine will be going up 170 To say that I am shocked is an understatement That is over 13 rental increasennAll of the management people Kristen and Perla are leaving Our beloved maintenance person has left and no one has replaced him I have three maintenance requests in that have not been responded to and I have no idea when they will bennI loved living here I truly did but there was little to no notification of the rent increase no sympathy expressed over how this would impact current residents who live here on fixed incomes many of whom have physical limitationsnnThe building itself is beautiful though I will likely move in the Spring I feel betrayed by Dominium and abandoned by the staff left to figure out everything on my own for how to make living here worknnPlease disregard EVERYTHING I wrote below though Im going to leave it because it shows how excited I was to live here and how much I loved itnnOLD REVIEW I recently toured The Legends at Silver Lake Village as I assessed my changing housing needs The facility is beautiful I am very impressed with the community amenities as well as the well thought out floor plans It is also affordable But what really impressed me was the office staff Kristen and Perla I found them both to be personable knowledgeable kind thorough and extremely professional Making the decision to go from independently living in a home to a 55 community comes with many decisions and questions This is a big and important move for me signifying a shift in my life Kristen and Perla were perceptive to both my anxious and hopeful feelings and navigated me through the process with such compassion Im very excited to have been approved to move there and am now waiting for an apartment to open up for me I highly recommend The Legends at Silver Lake Village and want you to know that you are in great hands with Kristen and PerlannUPDATE I have moved in as of 61 and have to take a moment to RAVE about this community First the people who live there have such kind hearts and are so welcoming It is a very dogfriendly community and I have gotten to know people as Lolas mom or Pablos dad etc Im known as Hugh and Bellas mom and I LOVE IT The common area by the office is a popular gathering place complete with a bowl of puppy treats nnThe office staff have a variety of events planned to foster a community feeling and make it quite easy to meet others and also get involved They have a great sense of what activities would appeal to the people who live therennMy apartment itself is beautiful and Im thrilled to be living there Its spacious well designed filled with light and all around LOVELY Tim and Bob the two people Ive met who handle any maintenance requests are very kind and prompt A request put in one day is likely addressed and repaired by the next Now that is unusually awesome servicennThere are other amenities I want to include in this review that lead to an active and independent lifestyle even if one has some physical limitations Each floor has an elevator which makes it much easier to navigate The hallways are wide and have hand rails Doors and hallways in the apartments are extra wide and work well with walkerswheelchairs There is an underground garage for an additional fee per month There is a gym community room beauty shop and craft room on the first floor Staying active and connected are core values at Legends at Silver Lake Village and they also in my opinion are the key to aging with vitalitynnThank you to all who work here for your expertise and to all who live here who have been so welcoming of me and my two little pups more ... hide ...
