I lived at Creeks of Gladstone for four years In that time my car was vandalized twice I had to pay insurance deductibles to have my car repaired The lot where I parked was very poorly lit and there is no security I spoke with three different people I lived at Creeks of Gladstone for four years In that time my car was vandalized twice I had to pay insurance deductibles to have my car repaired The lot where I parked was very poorly lit and there is no security I spoke with three different people and by their demeanor they simply did not care They told me to park my car somewhere else When I moved in the carpet was old and worn Someone put holes in the bathroom walls that were not repaired They were just painted over There is a laundry room that had never been cleaned in the time I was there It has always been filthy I would wipe down the washer and dryer to use them There is a blockage of some kind because when the water drained from the washer it spilled out of the drain pipe and on to the floor One day I heard a loud noise in the bathroom The electrical outlet blew The apartments came up and said they had fixed it I used to have a night light plugged in it Sometime later I heard an even louder bang The outlet had blew again It turned the outlet and the surrounding wall black The maintenance man came up again and said it was fixed There was water draining down causing the problem I stopped using the outlet Its a good thing I did because you can see where water is damaging the wall around the outlet The wall started peeling I had two surgeries last month I depended on family for most of the move I have not been feeling well I left a message that I did not clean the way I usually did when I moved I took pictures of the apartment before I left I received a bill saying I owe 450 to replace a carpet that should have been replaced a long time ago My cat damaged the carpet in two places They are charging me 80 for 4 bags of trash that I left in there and 100 for excessive cleaning Please review the photos I have attached I left the apartment in much better shape than they keep their laundry room At least four times they tried charging me late fees My rent had never been late The bill that I received says that my reason for moving was generally unhappy with property That is not what I put on my form For two years in a row they were raising the rent I will not continue to pay more money for management that does not provide a well lit parking lot or security I do not want to pay more money for management that is dishonest does not care and horribly overcharges tenants when they leave This is the new management toomore ...hide ...

They will lie and say Certain months werent paid They dont take care of the property either My neighbor fell when I lived there and they tried refusing to pay her medical bill until my neighbor mentioned getting a lawyer

I lived at NoRi for a year, and I would not recommend renting here. The only positive thing about my experience with NoRi was that my unit had a really nice washer/dryer set, but that was merely coincidence.Here are some things to take into consideration before signing a lease with NoRi:1) These apartments are poor in quality and overpriced. My bathroom hardware was always breaking and coming out of the walls due, keeping the apartment cool in the summer was very expensive and nearly impossible because of the horrible insulation, and losing hot water for a week or two at a time was common in the fall/winter months. Maintenance workers are very unprofessional and poorly dressed/groomed, and I would not recommend being in your apartment alone when they come if you are a single female. The overall upkeep of the grounds is very poor. Tenets are constantly leaving furniture out in the parking lot by dumpsters, and bugs, spiders/spider webs, dust, and leaves are constantly building up in the hallways and stairs of apartment buildings because they are rarely cleaned.2) This apartment complex is not very safe. Single female renters should stay away from this complex and not consider it an option for renting in the KCMO area. In October 2021, there were gunshots and arrests in the parking lot on a Friday night at about midnight, and some tenets who lived below me were involved in this altercation. Overall, there is constant police activity in the surrounding area of this apartment complex, especially on the weekends.3) Drug usage is common at this complex. I had to call KC Metro constantly because the neighbors who lived below me smoked marijuana from 6am-11pm nearly every day nonstop, and Paul/Michelle never did anything to address this issue, even after I saw and heard KC Metro officers talking with them in the parking lot about my neighbors. As I was walking by to my car, I heard an officer say, \"I didnt even have to get up to the door to smell the weed in their apartment.\" Living with that smell in your apartment constantly is going to be normal if you live at this complex.4) Management is overall very unhelpful, especially Michelle (though I think she was fired). In addition to the problems with my downstairs neighbors and KC Metro, scheduling errors with their calendars are common, and tenets are blamed for those errors. Furthermore, expect to pay for more than what they tell you when you move out, even if your apartment was cleaned very well and you followed all of the move-out directions. I did not have any pets and even cleaned up previous stains on the carpet that were not from me just to be safe, and they charged me extra fees for a deep cleaning of the carpet after I moved out.more ...hide ...

This place will always be home to me . The Manager is very professional and very efficient . She always takes care of any work orders and will let you know if there is a wait on any work orders.
