If you have $1250 to move in, then go somewhere else that will take care of your maintenance issues. I have called nine times about my broken air conditioner, but haven't been able to get a response. If you're not on Section 8, they will not help you at all. The only positive thing about this apartment is that it looks nice. Even the people in the area are friendly and quiet. The problem is that I pay $625 monthly for a broken AC, a non-functioning bathroom sink, and no one to fix these issues. If the maintenance man was allowed to work more than 40 hours a week, the place would be in better condition.
UPDATE: After almost a year of living here, nothing has changed. I still do not have air, my bathroom sink remains broken, my kitchen floor was never fixed, and now my bathroom ceiling is collapsing. When I called again to complain, the man called me a liar and told me to text him instead, as he was busy somewhere else. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I will be leaving once my year is up. The second photograph of the thermostat is from this year; it has still not been repaired.more ...hide ...

Many a days and nights you hear vulgarities outside and domestic arguments. The sound insulation between floors is terrible and many people arent very considerate in the buildings. So expect a considerable amout of noise above your head if not on the top floor. They do regular inspections of your living space. And can be slow to do much needed repairs. But more recently remodeled and nicer than other places that are low income based. There are a few good neighbors and the fact the apartment complex works with your income so that you can afford housing is very helpful.more ...hide ...
