Since I moved in just three months ago, I have been dealing with all sorts of problems and maintenance issues. On the day I moved in, my unit had not been professionally cleaned like Christy, the manager, promised, and it was full of throw up, a hole in the bathtub, and we had to clean it ourselves. Even after two months, our washing machine was still broken, and neither Christy nor Seldin Company (who owns CP Lofts) cared to help us or even respond to our calls/emails. In addition, I know of a former tenant who moved out in August who still has not received her security deposit, and is about to take CP Lofts to court for not replying to her or returning her deposit (which is illegal after 30 days). I suggest to anyone searching for an apartment where issues will be fixed in a timely manner to stay away from CP Lofts, as they clearly do not care about their tenants. more ... hide ...
