There was never any cleaning of the entry ways. When running a finger across the trim, it is filthy. The grills were never cleaned either and the water to the complex had to be shut off every month for repair. The pool opened late and had to be closed multiple times during the summer. They did not return my security deposit and I was charged to clean the carpet. Isn't the carpet supposed to be cleaned when people move out? The property has declined in the year that I was there. Once again, please read the reviews! Be aware that you will not get your deposit back, with the management being as unhelpful as they are. One positive about the location is that Montoya's is within walking distance. It's a shame that the manager/management is so unfriendly; it's alright to smile every once in a while. I have endured the worst living experience of my life here and am astounded by the five-star reviews (which seem totally false and nothing like my experience). Monarch, the company and property manager, are lacking in communication, empathy, and any kind of desire to help the tenants. As an example, I'm now on day three without hot water (which is not unusual, as my water gets shut off for days at a time). Also, there's no way for me to reach out to anyone else in the company. If you care about the people living here, then changes need to be made to the management. The location has potential, but that's meaningless if there's no effort to make the tenants content. Everything is constantly breaking. Don't expect to have such basic features as closet doors or screens on your window. To top it all off, when we moved in, there was a vodka bottle on the back porch and glass on the floor of our living room. Even more shocking was the fact that, on move-in day, we realized that instead of the second bathroom we wanted, we had an extra closet. That should have been a clear indication for us to go immediately, and I regret not taking that advice every day. Wish I could leave a negative star I decided not to listen to the reviews and moved in anyways Lived there for two years in two different apartments Just as many people on these reviews I did not get a notice of how much I owed after move out All the Wish I could leave a negative star I decided not to listen to the reviews and moved in anyways Lived there for two years in two different apartments Just as many people on these reviews I did not get a notice of how much I owed after move out All the prices they tell you on the lease are lies They are not willing to work with you and charge you for absolutely everything When we moved in our apartment manager told us that our master bedroom carpet was old and that it was just cleaned and said it would probably need to be replaced after we moved out I do have a dog so I went to Home Depot and bought vinyl flooring just to put over the carpet that way we didnt cause anymore damage Now they are trying to charge us for it Location wise is great but this apartment complex is not worth your money Now Im stuck owing my deposit and another 570 because they obviously dont go off the list they give you more ... hide ...
