I moved out of the Ridge of Waveland Apartments at the end of January. My sister and I both lived there. She lived in building #2 and I was in #1. We never bothered anyone who lived back there. After moving out, I never received my deposit back, nor did my sister. We both were impeccable housekeepers; we left everything clean with no trash or furniture left behind and no debts owed. So, I decided to call and check on my deposit. The corporate office told me that my deposit was withheld but they couldn't or wouldn't tell me why. They said that I would have to call a certain number which turned out to be a collection agency. I called but no one ever called me back--the same thing happened with my sister. The Ridge of Waveland Apartments has a record of high management turnover; they never return anyone's deposit. They will find a reason to keep your deposit no matter what. I highly recommend that nobody applies to live there because when my sister and moved into the apartments (around the same time), they were full of roaches and filthy dirty--it took us two months to get rid of roaches and clean it up to our satisfaction .
